Legal notice
- VidFetch is an automated media analysis and download service at vidfetch.app. Contact the operator at [email protected].
- VidFetch is not affiliated with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta or X. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
- The service is provided as available. Access, formats and speed depend on the source and hosting. No download is guaranteed.
Terms of service
- Only download your own content, appropriately licensed content, or content you have the rights holder’s permission to save. Public visibility does not grant downloading or redistribution rights.
- Follow applicable law, copyright and platform terms. Do not bypass access controls or redistribute protected material without permission.
- Private, deleted, age-restricted, login-required or region-restricted content may be unavailable. VidFetch does not override these restrictions.
- Automated abuse, excessive requests, overload attempts and unauthorized access are prohibited. Concurrency and quotas are limited to protect availability.
- Media belongs to its creators and rights holders. VidFetch claims no ownership of downloaded content.
Privacy policy
- VidFetch does not currently display ads. If advertising is enabled in the future, this notice will be updated to explain any related data use.
- Media streams through bounded buffers and is not permanently saved as a media file on the server. Metadata and source URLs may be cached in memory for up to five minutes.
- Temporary statuses and bounded quota records prevent abuse. IP-based quota identifiers are keyed hashes. Raw links and titles are not intentionally logged by the gateway. Legacy database features, if enabled, may record metadata. Do not submit confidential links.
- Unused tickets expire after one minute. Transfer status remains in memory for up to thirty minutes. Infrastructure may maintain operational logs.
- Secure downloads use short-lived authorization cookies and a verification challenge for access control, not advertising. The isolated engine rejects platform cookies and does not bypass login restrictions.
- For questions about stored metadata or deletion requests, contact [email protected] and identify the relevant URL or transfer.
Reporting abuse or copyright concerns
- Report abuse or copyright concerns to [email protected] with the original URL, a description and evidence of your rights or authority.
- VidFetch does not host a permanent media copy. Ask the source platform to remove the original; VidFetch’s operator can review service access and stored operational metadata.
